James came on staff at Grace in 2003 and served as Youth Pastor until the Lord called him and his family to plant Calvary Galveston in 2015. James and Nellie have 4 kids and are active in Foster care ministry. The Grizzles consider Grace Church their home church and always love coming back.

July 30
Bob Lane
Calvary Chapel Georgetown, Georgetown, TX
I grew up in Southern California, and I am the youngest of 4 siblings. In my early years our family attended West Lakewood Baptist Church, where my mother was the pianist. I met Lori in the summer of 1978, and we were married April 4th, 1980. We have 4 kids and two grandkids, and they are the love of our lives! Lori and I moved to Santa Ana and started attending Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa with our kids. In 1993 I enrolled in School of Ministry under Carl Westerlund and graduated in 1995. By Christmas of that year we were in Austin, Texas serving at Calvary Austin. I believe teaching verse by verse is the best way to learn the whole counsel of God’s Word, and to make its truth apply in our everyday lives through the power of the Holy Spirit as He educates, edifies and empowers each believer to do His will. Our purpose as a church is to win souls for Christ. Jesus said "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." It’s the "making disciples" that drives our goal to reach all men with the good news of the gospel. How do we reach people? We do this by our own personal witness whether at work, or school, or on the playground. My prayer and desire is to see you growing in the Lord. So many Christians start their relationship with the Lord like a 4th of July skyrocket! At first there is a lot of sparks and excitement followed by a big boom, then it all fades away.
We currently meet on Sunday mornings, Tuesday nights and weekly home fellowships. We broadcast our radio program “New In Christ” daily on stations in the U.S.
and abroad.

August 6
Albert Fuentes
Calvary Chapel Waco, Waco, TX
Born and raised in Waco, TX, Pastor Albert came to faith in Christ from a life which was plagued with alcohol and drug abuse. At the time of his salvation experience, Albert was distinctly called to preach the Gospel. Since May of 1992 Albert has walked faithfully with his Lord and
served in ministry. Albert visited Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa where he was introduced to the verse-by-verse expositional style of teaching. This singular event motivated him to begin a Bible study at the church he was attending using this system of teaching the Word of God. This was the beginning of teaching verse-by-verse for Pastor Albert. The congregation that now calls itself Calvary Chapel was birthed in 2001. The church received its Calvary Chapel affiliation in 2006. Married in 1994, he and Patricia have three children, Trey, Jacob and Hannah. The Fuentes family currently resides in Robinson, TX.
“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.”
