Dear Treehouse Kids and Families,
Love. It is a word we use a lot. In fact, I have told many people, including you, that I love and miss you! I mean those words, but sometimes it is good for us to stop and think about what they mean, and be sure that when we say, “I love you” that we truly mean it.
In 1 Corinthians chapter 13, Paul is talking to the Corinthians and us about love. He says that even if I have enough faith to move a mountain but do not love, I am nothing. Then he goes on to explain what love actually looks like when we are living it out! As ones who have believed in Jesus as our Savior, He will help us love this way!
Let’s read 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a together! “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”
When we say that we love someone, this is how we should show that love! The Bible also tells us that “God is Love,” we know what love is because of what Jesus has done for us on the Cross!
This week ask God to help you to love the way He did!
We look forward to seeing you again soon in Treehouse Kids! Praying for you! I love and miss you!
With Love and Grace,
Treehouse Kids Director
