Fast Ends Tonight!
It’s Resurrection week, and I’m excited!
I’m already experiencing some of the extra blessings that happened at this historic time - Resurrection Truth!
As we wrap up our Easter Fast, be sure that you are using the discomfort of denying yourself to look to God and Pray - Pray - Pray!
Praise Him for all that you have and how He has provided for you! Thank Him for His sacrifice made for each of us on the cross - the very reason we celebrate Easter!
1 Peter 1:3 - Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Pray for your family and friends and anyone you know who needs Jesus.
Pray for your church - the pastors, staff, volunteers, and the body. Pray for safety physically and spiritually as our church prepares for Easter services. And that the message of the Gospel will be clearly heard and that the hearts of the people will be open to receiving Jesus!
Pray for our community, city, state, and country. Continue to pray that we can overcome COVID-19. Pray for Ukraine and the war that is happening there.
Be mindful not to let this fast be about the thing you gave up - let it be about the communication you have with HIM! And remember - Jesus prays for YOU too!
We will break our fast on Wednesday night when we take communion together at the Upper Room Worship Service - tonight at 7:00 pm. See you then!
For the glory of Jesus,
Pastor Bill
