God is Always Working!

I recently attended the funeral of Helen Dominguez. I wanted to show my love and support for Pete, Helen's Husband. I also was there to support Pastor Scott as he officiated the funeral. The funeral was lovely, and Scott preached a message that touched a woman so much that she came up to him after the funeral to ask where he was a pastor. I happened to be standing there watching and listening as Scott motioned to me and let her know He is a part of Grace Church and that I was the pastor. Her eyes lit up, and she said, "I know you're a pastor. I've been to your house!" I was taken aback because I could not remember this person in my house, but she preceded to tell me that before my house was finished I was standing out front and she was asking me about the place and I let her know how my house had been given to Cindy and me by God. I still couldn't remember the story, but I believed her. Between Scott's message and My house story, she was determined that she and several members of her family would be a part of our church family. Pete agreed to host their very first visit to Grace Church! I am always humbled by God's Sovereignty and how He works in ways I could never imagine.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
