Songs of Truth

I don't know about you, but I have been so thankful to be back in the house! To be together again as a body worshipping Jesus TOGETHER. There's really nothing like it.

In a general sense, I've been in a season of seeing the Lord's provision on my life, and it reminds me of Psalm 65. It says, "You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it, the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it. You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth. You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance. The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy, the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing together for joy. "

Or Matthew 6:25-27 "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you, by being anxious, can add a single hour to his span of life?"

We are so valuable to our heavenly Father. He takes care of us! He is working all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose! So love Him! Worship Him! He is so worthy of being praised in seasons of provision and in seasons where he feels distant. I promise he is there, and he cares!

I use songs daily to help not only worship the Lord but also to remind myself of the truth of who God really is! One song I've sung over and over again lately is Jireh by Maverick City Music. The song sings of a God who is enough for us! We need nothing else! What are some songs you sing to worship Jesus or to remind you of the goodness of who God is?
