Wisdom 🎓

Hello!

Paper or plastic. This friend or that friend. Job 1 or Job 2. React one way or another. The number of daily decisions that flood us is truly staggering! If you are anything like me, there comes the point where I just get choice fatigue and get very moody.đŸ˜± There is so much pressure, hoping that I make the right choices. The Godly/wise choices.

There is a verse that I come back to. It is in my favorite book of the Bible.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”  (James 1:5-8)

One thing I realized from a very young age is that my own thoughts are not enough to help me.đŸ€” I need to have access to a deeper thought-pool, and that requires me to let go of my thought-puddles and access God’s thoughts and ways.

This verse is so encouraging! God makes Himself and His wisdom available to us, and He is so loving!😍 All we have to do is ask. Then step in faith to let go of what we thought would be best. We have to trust that He knows best.

I hope you join us in praying for wisdom for ourselves and for our leaders in this time. We all could use a little more of His thoughts and ways right now.
