Adore His Grace!

The Young Adults have been going through the book of Acts together on Tuesday nights! Recently, we read about how Timothy came into the picture with Paul. This gave me the idea to start reading through the letters Paul wrote to Timothy. This week, a specific passage stuck out to me that I want to share with you!

2 Timothy 1:8-9 says "Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,"

I am so thankful that God saved us and called us to a holy calling. I think sometimes I try to work for that, in the hopes that I might achieve that holy calling by my works. What a fool to try and work for something that He already has given us in Christ Jesus before the ages began. So I would encourage you to remember that it is because of God's purpose and grace that you are saved and called, not because of any works you could conjure up to offer Him. This week, let's walk in His grace, not abusing it, but adoring it for what it is!

Don't forget that we meet Tuesdays at 7 PM in the parking lot. Find more information on our Instagram page!

Thankful for you guys,

Nathan
